THIS IS HOW YOU OVERCOME THIS OBSTACLE AGAINST CREATIVITY
How can you tolerate the uncertainty of not knowing?
Not knowing or not being able to do something can be serious in many situations. And that is why the way to resolve these processes stagnates: it is so serious not to finish them or not to resolve them, that it is preferable (even “prudent” we say wrongly) to do them “as they are done”, “as they should be done” and finish them.
We do not ask, investigate, or experiment.
And yes: if it occurred to you that school exams destroy creativity, you are absolutely right.
All processes in which there is only one and only one way to do them, become obstacles to creativity.
Here is a list of recommendations for continuing to cultivate curiosity despite these processes.
First, of course, simulations or practices. If there aren’t any at your work or school, you can become a leader by suggesting their implementation.
If it’s not urgent, there’s no reason to stress you out. If it’s not “important,” there’s no reason to stress you out. So secondly, research things that aren’t “important,” experiment with things that aren’t “important,” things that you feel you have plenty of resources for or resources that are easy to OBTAIN.
The third resource: a truly unlimited one is conversations. Talking to someone is at hand, it’s something that’s easily achieved. Start the conversation, invite, ask, and say hello. Perhaps social activities are the best way to start awakening creativity. Quora or Reddit are the best examples.
I can think of a last resource to finish: read a new word every day. Or a Wikipedia article. Ask ChatGPT or Gemini to select what to research for you! Along the same lines, watch a TED talk a day, a week, whatever suits you.
I tried this prompt:
“You are a professor of Medicine, specializing in Pediatrics, you want your students to know the 10 most important concepts of the specialty, you propose an exercise: to define each of the ten concepts with a case; your task is to create the list of the 10 concepts and put the link to the Wikipedia article that will help the student.”
Tell me how it worked for you!
